I did not use a package to build this site; I coded it myself. I deliberately kept the look simple, partly so I could complete the project without losing my mind, and partly because I wanted pages that would be quick to load without giving anyone's browser grief.

I thought I'd share some of the good sources on the net and in print that I've found.

There are lots of good books out there on HTML and CSS. I chose these by going to my local bookstore one afternoon and seeing which books explained the things I needed to know in the way that I could follow best.
